This is the first post on the Mathyrious Blog, and I just want to make a few comments on what you can expect in the near future.  The primary focus will initially be on launching the Start Here set of notes and the website’s News area.  While those two continue, I will also begin introducing mathematics through reviews in the Basic Mathematics area and some new material on this blog.   

The early material on the blog will address some mathematical results that are a common source of online disputes by amateurs.  This allows a quick summary to appear in the website’s Frequently Asked Questions area, which can link back to the blog post.  This material will be the source for early videos for the Mathyrious YouTube Channel and this website’s Videos area.  You can check out the New at Mathytious area for notices on when new posts are added in any other area of the website.
