This area of the website serves as an introduction and is the recommended starting point for first-time visitors.  It consists of a set of notes that explain the project’s plans, provide a detailed description of the website, and outline the perspective taken throughout.  These notes will also appear in the Notes section, but are also included here for ease of access.  Once completed, these notes may be updated to reflect any changes to the website.
